- Does the calendar work offline?
- Fully. Events, reminders, and recurrence all run on-device. Sync happens later, when you choose to pair - the calendar never depends on a connection.
- Can it import my Google or Apple calendar?
- No - FamiliaSync is intentionally self-contained. Events live in the app rather than an external calendar service, which means there's nothing to export, nothing to sync past a third party, and nothing to leak.
- How does my partner see the same calendar?
- Through device pairing. You initiate an encrypted device-to-device transfer, both devices confirm it, and the calendar appears on their phone. Removing a device is just as deliberate.
- What kinds of events does it understand?
